As winter starts to creep in here in Australia, we couldn’t think of a better destination to spend a whole week at than the Whitsundays, Queensland Australia! We had such an amazing team with; Fredrika @fakander; Lisa @lisahomsy; Mel @mvandersluis; Kirsty @kirstycane and Kendall @kendallbaggerly!

We arrived at the Prosperpine airport, the main airport for the Whitsundays and were picked up by Whitsundays 2 Everywhere to transport us to the ferry terminal at Airlie Beach. We jumped on the Ferry with Cruise Whitsundays and headed over to Daydream Island!

Daydream Island was devastated by a cyclone a few years ago and has only just reopened this April, we were so lucky to have it open just before our trip because it was STUNNING!! Surrounded by the bluest ocean, beautiful white buildings, and hidden beaches, we were so excited to be there.

Later that night we enjoyed our first dinner at the Inkstone Resaurant, one of Daydream Island’s own restaurants featuring modern Australian dishes. It was the perfect way to begin the trip.

We started the day with morning stretch class at the underwater observatory at Daydream Island Resort.

After breakfast we worked on creating some content for the partnering brands on the trip and then headed down to the marina for a jet ski tour around Daydream Island! It was a great way to see the island from the water and was so much fun.

After a long amazing day we went to dinner in the resort at Infinity, a fine dining restaurant – the food here was so good!

Day 3 began with breakfast at Inkstone and a quick Living reef tour to learn more about the sea life at the Great Barrier Reef.

We then packed up and headed back to the marina for our ferry back to the mainland with Cruise Whitsundays. We arrived at our next hotel, the Mirage Whitsundays. The rooms at this hotel were huge! The girls were treated with the penthouse, a 4 bedroom luxury villa with views across the ocean.

That afternoon we caught the sunset and enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner at Northerlies. The grounds here were so beautiful and also home to Freedom Shores, the cutest hotel in the shape of boats.

Today’s activity was an adventure! We went on the Ocean Rafting tour which included an exhilarating ride to 2 snorkel spots where we got to swim at the Great Barrier Reef, and saw some of the biggest fish we have ever seen. We then went to Whitehaven beach and had 2 whole hours to enjoy and explore the beach plus a yummy lunch on board the boat.

After a long day of exploring we headed back to Mirage to freshen up before going to dinner at Boathouse Fish Bar. This was some of the best service and food we experienced while in the Whitsundays, highly recommended!

We started the day with breakfast at the hotel before packing up to head to Peppers hotel.

We then had some time to explore the town of Airlie and grab some lunch at a local café and later that afternoon we created some more content for the partners on the trip.

That night we were treated to dinner at Tides restaurant at Peppers hotel. It was super cosy as the weather was a little cooler so they had heaters and the best pumpkin soup we have ever had!

We started the day with breakfast at Peppers before we went to Hertz to pick up our hire car and drive up the coast to the beautiful beach town of Bowen, home of the big Mango! It was a short 1 hour drive passing plenty of cane sugar plantations along the way. We then headed for an amazing picnic lunch on the beach of Horseshoe Bay, the food was amazing provided by Meraki Whitsundays and Birds Fish Bar.

We then spent the afternoon enjoying the beaches of Bowen, the sun came out which was so nice. As the sun set, we drove back to Airlie Beach for dinner at Anchor Bar, followed by a relaxing bubble bath back at Peppers (these baths were huge!).

Our last morning! We enjoyed our last breakfast at Peppers before everyone headed back to the airport and back home. It was such an amazing group and a beautiful destination with so much to see!
