What a better place to be jetting off to than tropical Fiji!! We partnered with the Marriott Group to experience 3 different areas of Fijian Paradise. We had such an amazing team with; Jamie @jamienkidd; Lisa @lisahomsy; Cara @carajourdan; Adri & Luke @maya_gypsy and @lukecameron; London @london_ellis; and Paige @paigeowenphotography!
We arrived at the Marriott Momi BayResort and immediately fell in love! Picture overwater bures and a lagoon lined with a beautiful white beach and more bures (Fijian for bungalow). We were lucky enough to stay in the stunning Lagoon Bures which are modelled off Fijian fishing boats turned upside down. The rooms were huge and all had their own decks facing the blue lagoon on a palm-tree lined beach.
Later that night we enjoyed our first dinner at the Marriott which was a special wine dinner. We were spoilt with canapes and wine at the Lagoon as the sun set. We then moved to Fish Bar to enjoy a delicious main and dessert. It was the perfect way to begin the trip.
We started the day with an international buffet breakfast at the Marriott Momi Bay followed by some time to do photoshoots for the partnering brands on the trip.
In between photoshoots, we relaxed by the 3 pools at the Marriott to cool off and stayed hydrated with Fiji Wateras the Fiji sun was shining! After a long amazing day we went to dinner in the resort at the Lagoon House & Bar.
Day 3 began with a picturesque breakfast at the Marriott, views across the lagoon. The day started off rainy but soon after, the sun came out so we took the opportunity to shoot some more content for the partnering brands whilst exploring the resort. There were so many different parts to the resort, amazing views and Instagrammable spots.
Adri & Luke enjoyed a cute picnic with views of the ocean using their North Wind BlowsCoverlet as a picnic blanket, which matched the setting perfectly!
That afternoon we caught the sunset up at the infinity pool, there were seamless views across the pool into the ocean as the sun set on the day. Fiji have some of the most magical sunsets I have ever seen! We then enjoyed the most delicious and special dinner at Fish Bar, right next to the infinity pool. We were spoilt by a selection of the finest seafood and so much variety, there was something for all tastes.
We woke up to have our last breakfast at the Marriott Momi Bay before we headed over to the Sheraton Tokoriki. We packed up our things in our Samsonite suitcases, they were super lightweight and smooth to roll, it made moving around super easy!
It was around a 45min drive from Marriott to Denauru Marina where we caught a 1 hour ferry across to Tokoriki Island where we would stay at the Sheraton Resort.
Sheraton Tokoriki was the most picturesque little island, which only has 2 resorts, one of which is the Sheraton where we stayed for the next 2 nights. After we arrived we enjoyed a dinner at the Reef Bistro as we watched the sun set over the ocean.
We started the day with another delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel before enjoying the beautiful white sand beach right out front of the resort. The beach has a coral reef right off the shore, where we snorkeled and paddle boarded all morning as we took photos and created some more content wearing Ete Swimwearfrom the special collaboration collection with Jamie @jamienkidd which was even more special to have her on the trip!
After a day in the sun, Bangn Bodywas the perfect savoir to keep everyone’s skin moisturized!
Later that afternoon we were invited for drinks and canapes at the Owner’s Villa atop the mountain with the most breathtaking views of the resort and beach. We were spoilt with the delicious food and Fijian hospitality, but the most spectacular surprise was the dreamy sunset! The sky was filled with pink and orange tones, reflecting off the ocean and the Sheraton was positioned perfectly to have the best views! This was a sunset I will never forget – I told you Fiji has the best!!
After witnessing the most amazing sunset, we were treated once again with a traditional Fijian dinner at Coco Palms. We enjoyed a traditional feast and show with local villagers dancing and singing.
Our final breakfast at Sheraton Tokoriki before we boarded the ferry back to Denauru Marina en route to the Westin Fiji. The Westin is on Denauru Island, part of the mainland, which is a main hub for hotels, shops and a golf course. This is a great area to stay that is close to the airport, the Marina for any tours and ferries to other islands.
After check in we took some time to do a sunset photoshoot, then enjoyed a dinner at Wet Edge restaurant which is on a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean. The food here was amazing!
We woke up and enjoyed another amazing international buffet at the Westin before starting the day. We headed to the Marina to enjoy a day aboard Coral Cats catamaran. We sailed the seas and enjoyed snorkeling at 2 different spots throughout the day. We witnessed the most colourful coral I have ever seen and the most fish too! We stopped for lunch on a nearby island for a BBQ feast before sailing back to the Marina.
Our final dinner was at Kitchen Grill at the Westin Hotel. Our table was set up in the sand overlooking the ocean and we were treated to a Fijian fire show as we enjoyed our meal – what more could you want! It was the perfect way to end the trip.
